About IEC
The Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) is established to uphold the highest standards of integrity, accountability, and ethical governance across the institution.
The IEC serves as an independent and structured platform to discuss, review, and reflect upon ethical issues of institutional importance, including matters related to governance, processes, organizational conduct, and stakeholder welfare.
The committee ensures that ethical claims and complaints are addressed promptly, fairly, and confidentially, consistent with institutional policy, legal obligations, and best practices in higher education governance.
The Committee’s Responsibilities include:
• Receive and assess ethical complaints or referrals.
• Conduct preliminary reviews and, where necessary, initiate formal inquiries.
• Ensure confidentiality and fairness in all proceedings.
• Provide recommendations to senior management for corrective and preventive actions.
• Develop and review institutional ethics policies and guidelines to maintain best practices.
• Organize ethics awareness and training programmes to foster a culture of integrity.
